Cougars Post 6-2 Win Over Tarpon Springs
|
The losses keep piling up for the Tarpon Springs Yeehaas.
Surrey pitcher Donovan Keith did his part in helping his team beat the Tarpon Springs Yeehaas, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Keith, now 1-1, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 1 hit, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing no runs.
The Cougars got a big hit from catcher Jin-haeng Kim. In the top of the fifth, Kim pounded a run-scoring double to right-center. His 1st double of the season put the Cougars ahead, 2-0.
"I like the roll we're on right now," said Kim after the game.
The losing streak for Tarpon Springs has now reached 8 games.
