Edmonton got a valiant performance from pitcher Kent Ebach, but it wasn't enough to beat the Reno Aces. Reno won the game, 4-3. Ebach threw 7.1 innings of 2-hit ball for the losing team. Getting the save was Fritz Hennessey, his 7th. With the win, the Aces have a record of 29-23.

Austin Whitney had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It helped send Reno to the win.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Reno manager Arturo Rodriguez.
