Briard Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle
Some days everything just falls in place.

It all came together for Kevin Briard and the Hialeah College Miners today at Miners Ballpark. The Miners went home winners and the left fielder had a 4-for-5 day that included the cycle, a baseball rarity.

"He sure was a wrecking ball today," said Hialeah College manager Greg Harvard following his club's 9-2 taming of the Tampa College Waveriders.

Kevin Briard hit a solo-shot off Nate Haller in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a three-run triple in the 8th.

Briard on the season is hitting .236 with 12 home runs. His stats include 28 RBIs and 31 runs scored.
