Hill Lifts Friars to 18-8 Triumph
The rain did not keep Montgomery College and Chesapeake College from finishing their game.

Behind a fine performance from Jimmy Hill, the Montgomery College Friars knocked off the Chesapeake College Longhorns, 18-8. Hill was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks. He scored 5 times and drove in 3 for the Friars. Montgomery College reliever Mike Brown picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Kevin Davis was saddled with the loss.

Chris Bellafiore, the Montgomery College first baseman, contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to make the score 3-0, Friars. For the game, Bellafiore went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4.
