The Almonte Thunder knocked off the Patchogue Medford Raiders, 18-3, at Ballpark of Barranquilla HS. Rich Reyes was a big reason Almonte won. The first baseman went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs. The Thunder now own a record of 11-28.

Almonte got a big at-bat from Arjona, Colombia native Tony Romero, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Thunder ahead, 12-0.
