McCaw's 23-Game Hitting Streak Ends Sunday, March 24th , 2041 Xavier McCaw of the Atlanta College Bruins came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 23 games. Making matters even worse for the left fielder, Atlanta College dropped the game to the Winston-Salem College River Sharks 7-3. "It was not a good day today," McCaw told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." This season McCaw has hit at a .304 clip with 58 RBIs, 21 home runs and 42 runs scored. |
