Red Sox Lose to Nautilus in Walk Off
|
The Samoa Nautilus topped the Suva Red Sox, 4-3, in Polynesia League action at Ballpark of Samoa. The game was highlighted by the performance of Samoa pitcher Samuel Sanford. The Red Sox fall to 5-7 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2065 season.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Samoa left fielder Benjamin Godot, facing Kyle Ravai, had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. It gave the Nautilus the 4-3 win.
"Our team showed some gumption," said Godot. "I like it."
