Keyser Sits out with Day-to-Day Injury
Tuesday, August 4th, 2037
Port Moresby team officials speculated whether star shortstop Steven Keyser would be scratched from today's ballgame after he suffered a strained rib cage muscle in yesterday's matchup with the Vanuatu Vulcans. Keyser denied reports that he would miss a lot of time, but added that he would not risk further injury by playing.

So far this season Keyser is batting .310 with 15 home runs, 44 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 84 hits in 271 at-bats, 41 walks and a .406 OBP. Keyser has played in 71 games.
