Green Sox Get Zip in 2-0 Loss to Luwi Thursday, May 27th, 2038 It wasn't easy but the Madang Crocodiles made it look that way. Starter Marvin Luwi shut out the Bulolo Green Sox despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Madang Crocodiles cruised to victory, 2-0. Luwi allowed only 7 hits and rang up 5 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up." |
