Military Taufatofua Stops Blue Claws Friday, September 25th , 2065 It wasn't easy but Maurice Taufatofua made it look that way. Taufatofua silenced the Omoka Blue Claws, 8-0, in a Leone Military triumph at Ballpark of Leone today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Taufatofua said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 4 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." To this point in the season, Taufatofua shows a 12-5 record, 24 starts, 188 innings, 161 strikeouts and a 3.26 ERA. |
