MAA Gives Outstanding Pitcher Award Monday, October 19th , 2065 The Melanesia AA has heralded Jon Na'awi of the Norsup Eruption as the #1 man on the mound for the 2065 campaign. This year's Pitcher of the Year Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 12-2 record, holding opposing hitters to a .190 batting average and posting a 1.69 ERA. The 23-year-old hurler tossed 138.2 innings, gave up 92 hits, fanned 168 and issued 43 walks. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12. Daniel Kunatani of the Sigatoka Aviators finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Mark Maki of the Norsup Eruption finished third.
