The future looks extremely bright for Loïc Bonnet. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in PBF Double A.

Bonnet has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Melanesia AA Most Valuable Hitter Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .249 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said.

The Wau Earthquakes star also put up a .364 on-base percentage this year, with 105 hits, 12 doubles, 2 triples, 32 home runs, 82 RBIs and 76 runs scored.

He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 12. Robin Renard of the Norsup Eruption finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Epineri Wise of the Sigatoka Aviators finished third with 1 first place vote.
