Postseason Bid Ends for Navua HS Wednesday, July 9th , 2064 A late-season playoff push is not in the cards for the Navua HS Bloodhounds. The club today was mathematically knocked out of playoff contention. "There are a lot of long faces around right now," said Bloodhounds manager . "You know in your head that every year, most teams in baseball have to go through this, but it still hurts when you realize you've lost your shot at a title." The Bloodhounds have made the playoffs 16 times in their 85 years as a Fiji High School franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2055. In the last 10 seasons, the Bloodhounds have only made the playoffs once. Navua HS last won the Round 2 in 2055. |
