Nasilasila Homers 3 Times Against Capiata HS Monday, July 13th , 2065 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Red Pandas Ballpark buzzing, Savusavu HS Red Pandas first baseman Jona Nasilasila blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 12-11 win over the Capiata HS Jungle Kats. "Everything was clicking," Nasilasila told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Nasilasila shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Red Pandas manager said. "Jona played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Jona Nasilasila struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Marcus Kelly in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Spencer Boar in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th. To date, Nasilasila has collected 43 hits for a .326 average. He has posted 8 home runs, scored 18 runs and driven in 24 runs. |
