The 5-2 Cincinnati win over Cleveland was due in large part to António Olivas. The Reds left fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The second-place Reds have won 5 in a row.

Olivas contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Cincinnati in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Olivas took a cutter from Dave Patchan and stroked the double to right. His 2nd double of the season allowed the Reds to leap in front, 2-1.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Reds manager Mike Mantia, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
