The Cornwall Blue Jackets took on the Wilmington Buoys at Sugarcreek Grounds.

Cornwall Blue Jackets starter Kevin Gilbert found his groove in his team's 4-2 win over the Wilmington Buoys. Ron Walker got credit for the save for Cornwall. It was his 16th of the year.

Randy Brown came through with a big-time hit for Cornwall. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Slowly but surely, the wins are piling up," said Gilbert.

The first-place Blue Jackets have won 6 consecutive games.
