MacCorkindale Top-Notch as Blue Jackets Stop Apollos, 3-0

The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.
The Cornwall Blue Jackets got a strong performance from pitcher Andy MacCorkindale, who stymied the Charleston offense en route to a win, 3-0, at Blue Jackets Ballpark. Picking up his 3rd save was 21-year old right-handed pitcher Jody Baldwin.
MacCorkindale gave Cornwall a solid start. The right-hander, who is listed at 6' 6", 195 lbs, allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"I had pretty good command out there," said MacCorkindale.
The defeat makes Charleston 30-21.
