The Chessy Pandas managed to get by the Cornwall Blue Jackets, 5-4, in 11 innings at Blue Jackets Ballpark. Chessy pitcher Duane Tavone set himself apart with his performance. Bob Leslie snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-2 on the season. Jonathon Campbell suffered the loss.

The most important at-bat for Chessy came in the top of the 11th inning. With two out, Tony Were reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, putting Chessy up, 4-3.

Tavone told a Chessy Chronicle reporter that he felt "elated" after the win.
