Shipbuilders Hand Machiasport 8-2 Loss
The Galway Shipbuilders defeated the Machiasport Firewalkers, 8-2, in Wagners League action at Mt. Plymouth Fields. Galway pitcher Shawn Randolph had a standout performance. Augusto Lucero picked up the save for Galway, his 4th of the year. Machiasport now is 1-6.

Galway third baseman Loren Wright contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 11th hit of the season and put the Shipbuilders ahead, 2-1.

"They took it to us," said Machiasport manager .
