Jazz Win, 6-3, Extend Streak to 4 Games

The Waverly Jazz dealt the Lincolnshire Swarm a 6-3 loss at Swarm Ballpark. Jeremy Williams, who is tied for 6th in the AL in RBI with 10, was the star on offense. He went 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The winner was Joe Snider, who threw 93 pitches over 6 innings. The left-hander was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits. With the win, Waverly is 8-7.
Williams had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 0-1 slider from José Durán, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Jazz a 5-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Williams.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Williams told the Waverly Times.
