Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Dunedin Blue Jays and Palo Alto Palominos.

The Dunedin Blue Jays faced a tough opponent in Palo Alto pitcher Edwin Cameron, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of Lutherville-Timonium by a final score of 5-4. Cameron went 6.2 innings and allowed no runs. Dunedin reliever Juan Gómez picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Pete Cameron was tagged with the loss. Reginald Clark earned the save, his 2nd.

An inflection point occurred with one out in the top of the eighth. That's when Blue Jays center fielder José Rivera hit a sinker from Kevin Walters for a 2-run single. Just like that, Dunedin was up, 4-3.

"This team is real focused right now," said Dunedin manager .

Palo Alto is 14-8 after the loss.
