In a tight contest at Granite Grounds, the Fall River Rough Riders edged the Orlando Oracas by the score of 9-8. Fall River designated hitter Shi-fa Liang, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Earning his 25th save of the year was Héctor Arellamo. The Rough Riders sport a record of 66-37.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Mike O'Neil came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Orlando pitcher Edgardo Choisy, he hit a 1-2 sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Fall River on top, 9-8.
