Starting pitcher Robbie Sanders pitched well enough to help the Flower Mound Jaguars beat the York Spartans, 5-3. Sanders picked up the win for Flower Mound, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-1. Malcolm Fouquet earned the save, his 2nd.
The Jaguars got a big at-bat from right fielder Junior Sánchez. For the game, Sánchez was 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Flower Mound a 4-3 lead.
"Robbie had good arm action, good stuff," said Flower Mound manager .
