Jaguars Come Back Late, Nip Drillers
The Flower Mound Jaguars reigned over the Stafford Drillers in damp conditions.

The Flower Mound Jaguars weathered an outstanding game by Stafford left fielder Xuan-ling Chin to topple the Drillers, 6-5. Chin belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win was credited to Gauthier Ambrogi in relief. His record improves to 1-5. Jim Unknown took the loss. Earning his 5th save of the year was Malcolm Fouquet.

Flower Mound used the hitting of Junior Sánchez to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Jaguars on top, 6-5. For the game, Sánchez had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Flower Mound manager .
