Mooseheads Lose Big to Insomniacs, 10-2
Insomniacs first baseman Kevin Strong left his mark on his team's 10-2 win over the Halifax Mooseheads. Strong went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for Barrow in the contest. Walt Martin, now 3-0, was credited with the win in 4.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. The Insomniacs saw their win-loss record go to 31-21. At the same time, the Mooseheads fell to 28-24.

Strong contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Barrow in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Strong took a fastball from Josh Reed and stroked the home run to left. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Insomniacs to leap in front, 3-2.
