The Texas Rangers picked up a win at Globe Life Park in Arlington, taking down the Kansas City Royals, 8-5. Starting pitcher Alan Sexton was a big reason why. Texas has now won 3 straight, while the Royals have lost 3 in a row.

Dan Lee had a big 2-run double for the Rangers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Texas leading 5-3 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Jimmy Green and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 13th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rangers ahead, 7-3.

"I just love going out and having a big game," Sexton said. "The limelight's never bothered me."
