The home crowd had a good time watching the Burlington Dutchmen and West Virginia Black Bears get after it.
Artie Curry brought his A-game to help West Virginia defeat the Burlington Dutchmen, 4-1. Getting the save was Jake Herring, his 3rd.
The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Wild Things Ballpark crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
"My gosh almighty, Artie was tremendous," said West Virginia manager .
The loss drops Burlington to 3-5.
