Burlington turned a good effort from starter Alfredo Rivera into a win over the Sunburst Sprinting Wallabies at 14ers Ballpark. The final score was 6-0. Rivera picked up the win for Burlington, going 5.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 4-5. Getting the save was Mario Gonzáles, his 2nd.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the 14ers Ballpark crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"Alfredo had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Burlington manager .
