The Hilton Head Island Big Stick had their hands full with Bonita Springs Bull Sharks starter Luis Souza, who frustrated Hilton Head Island hitters while leading Bonita Springs to a comfortable, 6-1 win. Hilton Head Island now has a record of 1-2.

Dave Wilson had a big 2-run home run for the Bull Sharks in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Bonita Springs leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 17-year old right-handed pitcher Whit bayer and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Bull Sharks on top, 4-1.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Souza. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
