Porter Jacks Two Home Runs in 11-6 Beltsville Win
Led by 19-year-old Mal Porter, the Beltsville Hounds knocked off the Washington State Huskies, 11-6. Porter hit 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Hounds. The win puts the Hounds at 2-14, while the Huskies drop to 7-9.

Tomás Medina had a big 2-run double for the Hounds in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Beltsville trailing 5-4 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Keisuke Suzuki and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hounds ahead, 6-5.

"The key is not trying to do too much," said Porter.
