Myrtle Beach Offense Jammed Up by Cat Collectors

Pee Pee Township starter José Ríos put the Myrtle Beach offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his fastball in leading the Cat Collectors to a 3-1 win. The save went to Dave Brehm, his 3rd this season. The third-place Cat Collectors have a record of 12-7.
Elvis Hicks drew 3 walks for Pee Pee Township. The 24-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Tommy White. It was his 11th walk of the season.
