|
Albuquerque Isotopes starter Frankie Flores found his groove in his team's 5-4 win over the Arizona Wranglers. Flores, now 1-2, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 4 runs. Ed White sewed up the save, his 3rd.
Jonathan Boling had a big 2-run double for the Isotopes in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Albuquerque leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Cisco Gómez and swatted a double to center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Isotopes ahead, 5-0.
"When Frankie is on, he can really move the ball around," said Albuquerque manager .
The loss makes Arizona 5-7.
