Cougars Win with Late Heroics
The Kane County Cougars picked up a win at Myers Corner Grounds, downing the Reno Aces, 1-0, in 14 innings. On the mound for Kane County was right-hander Max Sutherland, who played a pivotal role in the win. Walt Thompson claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3.1 innings. His record stands at 4-1. Kane County now owns a record of 35-29.

The Cougars got a clutch hit from shortstop José León. In the bottom of the 14th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Cougars.
