Late Heroics Net Spies 6-5 Win
The Setauket Spies gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

Setauket beat Indianapolis at 49ers Ballpark, escaping with a 6-5 win in 16 innings. The win in large part was due to right fielder Dave James. He was 1 for 3 with 5 walks. The Spies go to 39-33, putting them third in the Ruths League South Division.

The Spies got a clutch hit from catcher Steve Miller. In the bottom of the 16th, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Spies.

"We earned that one," said James.
