Indians Come Back Late to Clip Cubs
Both teams had their chances, but the Indianapolis Indians eventually prevailed.

The Indianapolis Indians grabbed a win, 8-7, over the Iowa Cubs at Ballpark of Potlatch. Indianapolis left fielder Ronnie Massey was 3-3 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Clarence Young picked up the win in relief. Robinson Deleón took the loss for Iowa.

In the bottom of the ninth, Ezra Stratan knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring single off Iowa pitcher Robinson Deleón.

"We found a way to get it done," Stratan said.

The 7th-place Indians now sit at 65-77.
