The Tulane Green Wave and Willmington Waves put on quite a show.
Tulane Green Wave starter Don Li pitched his team past the Willmington Waves in 10 innings, 4-1. Ignacio Fundo finished the game for Tulane and earned his 5th save.
Tulane used the timely hitting of Joe McAslan to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Green Wave on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Don -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Green Wave manager . "He was the key to us winning."
After today's action, Tulane sits at 31-21, while Willmington falls to 28-24.
