The Lomita Cosmos defeated the Sylvania Tomcats in 10 innings, 8-3, in part because of third baseman Marc Allen. Allen went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Cosmos. Eric Norton snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Orlando Guerra suffered the loss. Lomita is now 51-87. Sylvania is 20-118.

Lomita needed the clutch hitting of Rob Price II to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cosmos on top, 5-3. For the game, Price II had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
