The Tulane Green Wave took Lomita pitcher Jorge Ramos's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Rebels Ballpark. The final score had Tulane getting past the Cosmos, 3-2. Ramos went 6 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 10. With the win, the Green Wave improved to 70-68.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Tulane third baseman Julius Harris, facing Joe Simmons, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Green Wave the 3-2 win.
"Now that's what I call an exciting game," said Green Wave manager .
