Cows Earn Late Win
El Paso pitcher Desi Sandusky gave the Cows all they could handle, but in the end, Matawan left Cows Ballpark with a win, 2-1. Sandusky allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 8 innings. Matawan reliever Bob Perry was the winner. His record is now 6-5. The losing pitcher was Mathias Capano. After today's action, Matawan sits at 53-58, while El Paso falls to 51-60.

Natsu Suzuki delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 13th to win it for the Cows. For the game, Suzuki drove in one run.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Matawan manager said.
