Gilbertsville starter Ben Glenn pitched well against the Weed Smoke at Gilbertsville Fields. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 12 innings. Gilbertsville has now won 4 games in a row.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when center fielder Ty Vicente hit a run-scoring single. The Emus went on to win.

Gilbertsville manager was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
