The Kinuso Blues picked up a win at The Omnipotent Palace, knocking off the Orlando Oracles, 7-4. Starting pitcher Rich Parsons played a key role in the triumph. Parsons went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 3, and struck out 7. His record improves to 1-1. The save went to Ken Brett, number 2 for him.
César Muñóz, the 14-year veteran , had a direct impact on the outcome. Muñóz contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Kinuso up, 2-0.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Muñóz said after the game.
Orlando, at 4-11, is off to a poor start in 1972.
