Mitchell Performance to No Avail in 7-4 Knights Loss
The Atlantic City Aces overcame a good performance by Ottawa left fielder Bill Mitchell to knock off Ottawa, 7-4, at Round Table Stadium. Mitchell hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Lloyd West was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save. Ottawa drops to 11-17.

Atlantic City used the clutch hitting of Jorge González to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Aces the lead, 7-4. For the game, González had 1 single and 1 double in 2 at-bats.

González told the Atlantic City Daily: "I'm the straw that stirs the drink."
