Atlantic City Aces starter Derrick Davis pitched a strong game against the Harlem Hellions at Hell, leading the Aces to victory, 3-2. The winning pitcher was Davis, now 1-1. He tossed 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 2. Blakeley Johnson closed the door for Atlantic City, picking up his 8th save of the year.
Roy Foster, the 26-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Foster contributed a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put Atlantic City up, 3-0.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Atlantic City manager Rubén Elías.
Harlem's current losing streak is now 6 games.
