The Pioneers got a big at-bat from left fielder Howard York. For the game, York was 2 for 3 with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 15th double of the season gave Redwood a 3-2 lead.
