Álvarez Delivers Walk-Off Win for Coalition
People outside the ballpark no doubt heard the roar of the crowd as the winning run crossed the plate.

Bronx center fielder Roger Allen was sensational. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Chi-town beat the Bombers, 7-6. The win for the Coalition raised their record to 32-26.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the ninth, Juan Álvarez had a chance to end it. Bronx pitcher Hiroyasu Nishikawa had other ideas. But with no outs, Álvarez hit a 2-run home run. The Coalition had the win.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Álvarez.
