The Bronx Bombers scored a tight 5-4 win versus the Ottawa Knights at Round Table Stadium. Bronx pitcher Nick Brown held his own in the contest. At 32-33, the Bombers find themselves in 6th place in the Canis Division.

Bronx took a 5-2 lead on Chris Gunter's 20th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Ottawa pitcher Don Sutton in the top of the ninth.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Ottawa manager Román Martínez.
