Bombers Suffer 3-1 Loss to Redwood
|
The Bronx Bombers got a superb performance from pitcher José Burgos, but the Redwood Pioneers still won the game, 3-1. Burgos threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The 6th-place Bombers have lost 4 consecutive games.
José Moya, who led the CL in extra base hits with 76 last year, contributed to the Redwood win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
