Whitehead Lays Hammer Down in 5-1 Win
|
The St. Louis Terriers topped the Hollywood Stars, 5-1. Mike Whitehead, who is tied for 2nd in the UL with a 2 complete games, engineered a dominant performance. Hollywood, now 5-20, continues its dreadful start.
Whitehead allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 9 innings for the Terriers. He walked 1 and struck out 14.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Whitehead told the St. Louis Gazette.
