Hurricanes Come Back Late to Top Stars, 7-6
Both teams had their chances, but the Puerto Rico Hurricanes eventually prevailed.

The Puerto Rico Hurricanes topped the Hollywood Stars by the score of 7-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Terry Zimmerman. Zimmerman was 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Hurricanes on the day. Roger Nelson recorded the save, his 1st.

Puerto Rico used a clutch hit from Steve Scott to get the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Hurricanes ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Zimmerman told the Puerto Rico Gazette.

Puerto Rico now has a record of 12-17.
