A good performance from center fielder Jason Wright helped the Iron City Eddies defeat the St. Louis Terriers, 8-6. Wright went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Eddies. Iron City reliever John Richards was the winner. His record is now 3-2. Víctor Romero took the loss. The 6th-place Eddies improved to 20-19.

Wright had a key at-bat for Iron City early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and gave Iron City an early 2-0 lead.
